Malaspina Castle of Filattiera
Filattiera
is made up of a number of nice quarters situated on a hill on the
left side of the Magra. It features a Malaspina castle, right on
the town's central square. In Roman and Byzantine times Filattiera
was the most important centres of the valle after Luni.
