The municipal territory of Zeri is made up of several
towns which have alway based their economy on agricultural activity.
Therefore present in the territory are several towns which bring
us back to the rural way of life. Infact the area lacks majestic
churches and important palaces but is rich in agricultural and
pastoral constructions. One of the most significant of these
areas is Formentara.

The houses which are found here are tipical rural constructions
with walls made of large masses of sandstone having irregular
shapes and rooves made up of large flat stones called "pagne".
For lovers of tranquillity, this area is known for its countless
paths forming various itineraries.
